Advokate exists to promote the inherent worth and dignity of every human being.
We believe that all human beings have inherent, God-given value and are worthy of respect and protection regardless of age, place of residence, stage of development, state of health, or level of ability. We advocate for vulnerable people groups in Canada including pregnant women and their born & unborn children, low-income families, hyper-sexualized teenagers, dependent seniors, and people with disabilities. We believe everyone has value. It's that simple.
We are an evidence based, non-sectarian charity with a strict policy of non-discrimination and treats everyone equally regardless of race, colour, ancestry, place of origin, religion, family status, marital status, physical disability, mental disability, sex, age, sexual orientation, or political beliefs.
We are a registered charity working in British Columbia , Canada, and our work is funded entirely by the support of our generous donors. Donations made to Advokate are eligible for a tax receipt.
